My name is Xiaohui Yang, but you can call me Tracy. I am a third generation TCM doctor.
I grew up under the philosophy of Chinese medicine, learning about meridians, Chinese cupping, and herbal medicine from my family, who are generational traditional Chinese medicine physicians. Both my father and grandfather opened clinics in China. My father also opened Yanghua New Cupping Research Institute. I have decades of experience diagnosing patients and providing massage, cupping, and herbal treatments in my family's clinic.
I have also trained under the founder of the Diao style for acupuncture and massage, which is based on Daoist techniques passed down for thousands of years. The focus of the Diao style is spinal health. I have also studied with different TCM teachers on various types of massage, acupuncture, and herbal medicine techniques over the years.
I have a Bachelor's in Clinical Medicine at Taishan University and worked as an internal medicine doctor in China. I am an active professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association and am licensed by the Virginia Board of Nursing for massage therapy. I am also in the process of acquiring a Virginia acupuncture license.
I have a passion for wholistic medicine, especially for integrating Eastern and Western philosophies of medicine in my massages, working on not only muscles and fascia but also meridians, the energy channels of the body, and acupoint. Both my massage therapy and cupping treatments operate on principles similar to acupuncture. I customize my unique massage to the needs and conditions of your body.
